Ensuring the security of our ally.

The bond between the United States and Israel must continue to be unbreakable, and Israel’s right to exist as a secure Jewish State must not only be recognized by the Palestinians, but also by those that have traditionally failed to do so in countries throughout the world.

Israel is a critical ally for America and vitally important to the safety and stability of the Middle East.

As it relates to the peace process, the formula for peace needs to be determined by the two parties, not by the US.  America must assist the two parties to achieve a lasting and peaceful acceptance of each other’s presence.

The bond between America and Israel has remained steadfast because of our shared values of democracy, freedom, and respect for the rule of law, and it is a bond that I will continue to strengthen as a member of Congress.
